Like I’m sure it seems weird to refer to real people as ‘complex villians’ but when you watch the show most, with very rare exception, are (usually the people that aren’t get their scenes edited out, because it’s not enough drama for ratings). Even people that seem sympathetic and maybe kind of like…awful, but with potential, redeemable…all that goes away as soon as it gets to the reunion episodes. Then you find out that no, actually? Evil….and pretty irredeemable.
