She HAD the (soap-operatic) Range!!
I watched the pilot last night and it used to be so much more close-camera and like… #aesthetic? So many candles, so many rich saturated colors… I wish they’d kept that up.
In retrospect, Tudors S1 was usually close cameras/shots as well (and I think much of S2) but then it was mainly wideshot s3 and I remember missing it…and also thinking Cromwell looked so suddenly teeny on the screen sksksks.
