me watching henry scream at and shake an ambassador by the collar (in what is, ostensibly, 1525) when in the 1520s ambassadors noted his graciousness, friendliness, and amiable demeanour:
like the thing about tudors is that it has some really good, apt quotes/lines…but then it has scenes like these that totally contradict them.
like koa’s line some eps before this is that ‘henry is a good masquer’ (and it’s true that he was, from what we know) but from this scene and many others it would seem that no, he’s not even really like…a mediocre one.
