‘advertisors now know everything about you; companies are selling your information!!’

i mean maybe so but generally speaking they’re not doing a very good job, like– ads for becoming an uber driver when i don’t have a car, expensive jewelry ads etc… if they were really tailored for me they’d know not to waste their money and play ads for products $5 or less only (candy bars? coffee, maybe?); because i can’t afford anything else so like…i don’t really…care…
