Congratulations on getting into university!! Were you able to mention/allude to fic writing/history blogging anywhere on your application, if you were asked about why you chose history as your major?

No I didn’t, and honestly (altho it’s not like I’m an academic and/or admissions advisor, or anything) I wouldn’t reccomend it? There is still a lot of stigma about fanfiction and blogging; if your blog is only academically/journalistically centered (no personal posts) and you’re only posting original content then maybe…but if you are your blog is probably on a platform liked blogspot or WordPress or you have your own URL anyway. 

I was asked about what I wanted to pursue academically and so I did talk about why I chose history as my major and why I was passionate about it. 💗
