honestly i can’t stomach watching west europeans engaging in discussion about us imperialism much of the time because like y’all don’t actually care about anything more than “gotcha!”s and trying to paint your own nationalism as harmless while erasing your country’s history of and present perpetuation of imperialism (among many other issues that are not exclusive to the us)??? it’s so transparent and no y’all laughing about gun violence in the us and people — children — dying is not cute, it’s gross
