Do you think that writing fanfiction is a waste of time?

Not in the slightest bit.

I’m doing a report about your young adult novel the graveyard book, what made you want to write a novel that played out like it did because it was amazing.

It didn’t exist anywhere in the world. I couldn’t read it and neither could anyone else. If I wrote it, it would exist. So I wrote it.

Maybe & maybe not. The point isn’t what I would say. The point is that the asking needs to take place. If i thought you’d give me a sandwich but I don’t ask & I take your sandwich anytime I see it, that wouldn’t necessarily always be cool with you.

I feel alone and very often I am quite literally alone; but I appreciate the sentiment.

Things might not get better for me, I’m sure you mean well with that but it’s important not to make promises on behalf of the universe. People have been telling me ‘it gets better’ for over ten years.
