Have you read “Anne the Saint” by Leigh Jenkins? It’s an alternate history book (in a series of books about alternate fates for the six wives) about Anne Boleyn, and how this alternate version of her ended up a saint. I liked it, even though I thought H8 was portrayed a bit too kindly (but what’s a negative for me, might be a positive for you?), but I loved, loved, loved Anne’s friendship with Cranmer in this book, they team up to advocate for poor houses and education for the poor.

I haven’t, because I’m usually not a fan of first person POV, honestly.

I was able to get a free preview; and agree to disagree on the portrayed ‘too kindly’; based on the first chapter. Thank you for the rec anyways.
