I dunno. I think she got a bit lazy after this. Or the scripts weren’t so great.
And, yes, I am well aware of who directed this.
But it’s very well-acted.
Nola knows she’s gorgeous. But she also feels worthless and swept aside and knows she’s never going to end up a trophy wife in this posh society. She’s seen as too trashy.
