I think it’s important in the stories that we tell that we try to keep away from archetypes of saying people are good or people are bad. I think humanity is so much more nuanced than that. Virginia Woolf famously said, “I am not one and simple, but complex and many.” To me, that’s true. We all try to put ourselves into boxes, especially in this world of social media. We’re desperate to define ourselves and define other people. The truth of the matter is humanity and the human condition is not as binary as that.
