Okay so, while I personally dislike John Mayer, I can totally see his music being present in the modern Henry X Anne relationship. Like just picture Henry laying on his bed in his dorm listening to Gravity and existentially brooding about his love life. Or Anne hears Slow Dancing in a Burning Room like in an elevator or cafe or the like and just gets really upset because she hates Henry and his stupid, embarrassing (un)ironic music choices but also the song fits them and she loves him despite herself!!

But Anne herself definitely listens to a combination of French music and classical and like feminist 90’s punk which totally baffles Henry but also makes him more enamored with her
