this is only adjacently related, but part of the reason i had mr. henry tudor with a backstory of being a contestant on the bachelorette and not the bachelor in my fic is because … can you imagine how i n s u f f e r a b l e he would be on the bachelor, he would by JUST like nick (and ask permission to ask THREE different girls to marry to their dads…… and tell them ALL THAT HE LOVED THEM, the worst, biggest rule-breaking thing you can do on the bachelor if anyone that follows me knows this lmao), there would be NO possible future redemption arc…if that were the case.
