what’s extremely funny about the majority of the ‘extra ways to make extra cash that you’ve NEVER thought of’ articles is that they all assume you have some sort of investment/property available to use in the first place and like…bold of you to assume that, sis.
‘become a lyft/uber driver’ assumes you have a car and what’s more, one up to the exacting standards of both those businesses, ‘rent out your apartment on airbnb!’ assumes you a) have property and b) that you leave it empty a fair amount (most people i know are roommates or live with a parent like moi)….
basically if you’re someone whose income is close to or equal to mine, the great advice WE get is to sell any and all electronics (despite that those are vital for contact with friends/family and also vital for most jobs these days), sell any and all books, cancel any and all entertainment memberships/subscriptions that provide a brief respite to the harsh and cold realities of this world, don’t eat, donate your blood, faint because you’ve donated your blood on an empty stomach, have to pay for the ambulance because you fainted and hit your head, and then everything you just made selling everything you own goes to that hospital bill so you can’t even say it was worth it.
also even if you don’t donate blood, all the money you just made from all the former would maybe be enough to cover a month of rent, at most, in the city you currently live in.
but if you didn’t do all the former, you’re worthless and should really get better about saving money 🙂 learn to pinch those pennies!!! 🙂
