harlots really did that………and that in-script criticism of society’s definition of “innocence” (that so many define it as being “untouched” rather than it defining an “innocent” as someone that has never tried to harm someone that’s never harmed or threatened them) is especially important in the context of comparing the “spartans” to characters like will, daniel, kitty, harriet, fanny, margaret, violet, amelia, charlotte, etc.

basically anyone that is watching this show and claiming lucy and fallon are “the same” or ~kindred spirits~ is so clearly missing the narrative point of this show that it’s laughable!!
