I don’t know if he would have been the best king. He was a bit more sheltered and I don’t think he really would’ve had the common touch in the way that Henry did.
I think an interesting potential part of that AU that isn’t written is that it’s possible he wouldn’t have had a son with COA, either? Feel like everyone assumes that was just Henry’s fault/ genetics but we don’t really know short of being able to bring him back to life and like… test him for that.
Anyway, Henry as heir to the throne for the rest of his life… Or until his 30s or 40s or whatever is an interesting concept…I wonder how the pressure of that I would affect him. If that were the case he would probably not be given much choice in who he married, as the only potential future king… which I don’t think suited him very well, honestly. Maybe he would have Rebelled.
