Henry Tudor, Prince of England, has made quite a scandal of himself. He’s left two wives now for other women and thrown the succession of England into upheaval. His first wife, Catherine, Princess of Spain, went back home after the divorce but his second wife, the intractable Anne Boleyn, isn’t going anywhere. But the King, Henry VII of England, has made it quite clear that his son’s current marriage to Jane Seymour is to be his last. There are those, however, who are not truly content with this arrangement…

I read somewhere that they’re supposed to be the most accurate depiction of her we have, next to the Chequers ring. Or do you think her appearance was a combination of certain portraits?
On nothing other than instinct, I think this Holbein sketch is her:
The contemporary description of ‘long neck’ leads me to believe it is her.
The Most Happy medal I don’t really know much about…I assume it is actually a depiction of her, but it’s hard to get a good likeness in stone also?
Nidd Hall portrait looks like some paintings of older Elizabeth I to me, so I think it’s probably a portrait done based on Elizabeth’s meant to be representing Anne if anything– but probably not a very accurate one, as for representing what she actually looked like.
I would really, really, REALLY love to see that potential one clarified/isolated more. I know absolutely nothing about art preservation or if that’s even possible but I would love to see a clearer look at the previous sitter’s face. I personally am not a fan of the Nidd Hall portrait myself, so a part of me just doesn’t want it to be her. I also favor that Holbien myself over the dressing robe one. And, if you were to look at the Moost Happy medal, I think it’s similar to what she’s wearing. Thank you for your reply!!❤️❤️❤️
